Hello from Nanchang...
Our first night went very, very well, Melissa put Mia to sleep at about 10:00 with very little protest. Although she has a little cold, she slept through until about 04:30 (which if you know us is only about 15 minutes before our normal waking time). We hope this progresses to be a little later in the day as time goes by, please...

Today we had a pretty easy morning of paperwork followed by lunch for most of us, Mia missed it..
Then a bus ride for the "Adoption"
In the adoption world, yesterday was Gotcha Day, today is Adoption Day. Mia Claire is now a full and official member of our family, the adoption is complete.
After the Adoption we went to, of all places, WalMart, yes Darrell even went. This was a group trip for essentials now that we have Mia and know what we need, and forgot...The following is our shopping list..
Bottled Water
Socks
Diapers
Wash Cloths
Coke
Snickers (Mom is having chocolate withdraw)
M&M's (ditto)
Peanut M&M's (ditto)
Beer (for Dad and mom after the kiddos go to sleep)
Obviously "essentials"
We also picked up a little "toy" for Madeline, she has been wonderful and deserved a little gift. She is so, so supportive, it can't be put into words how cute it is when she comes over to hug or kiss Mia not only when she cries (by the way this happens ever time Mom walks away) but also at other spontaneous times.

I can't remember the last time I was in a wally world, and now know why I don't go, and if I never go again it will be too soon. If you know me, you know the hives (from shopping are just now reducing). Tomorrow afternoon will be some additional shopping for Mom, while dad gets to sit outside in the open air mall and relax, the weather here has been perfect, about 55-60 deg F and sunny.
As of now this is our life.....
